*puts on phony Plugsy voice* How do youse do?
Just so yas know, I prefer to call myself Emma S. (my Internet nom de plume) online, as to protect my privacy. It's really important to me that I stay safe online.
Hi, I'm the last person on Earth to use colored pencils instead of a computer to draw and color. So, I guess my gallery is kind of like the place you go when you're tired of the absurdly impressive anime/dragon/MLP/other digitally-done paintings that hog the front page. You can take a look around here; I warn you, I don't really draw anything impressive or popular, but I promise you that you'll find something you like in my gallery.
Q: Are you a mean person?
A: No. I'm usually kind, I try not to be rude, and I'm very sensitive, but get me mad, and I will erupt like Kilauea.
Q: What are some of your pet peeves?
A: Getting flamed, overly romantic drooling fangirls that slash every single character, and getting a bunch of deviations in my mailbox when I just commented on a lot of people's artwork.
Q: Do you support any fandom couples?
A: Nope. Well, if they're already dating/married in the canon, yes. Fanmade? No.
Q: What's your favorite Pokemon?
Q: Fine then, least?
Q: Are you normal?
A: Normal is just a setting on the dryer.
Q: Innie or outie?
A: Bro, I'm always IN.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: It depends on the request. If it's something that relates to a fetish, then I probably won't. If not, I'll have it done in maximum two weeks.
Q: What's your favorite TV show?
A: Invader Zim. ALL HAIL ZIM!
Yes, I am a fan of The Brave Little Toaster. Yes, I make plushies of minor TBLT characters. Believe it or not, I actually hate most modern cartoons, except for Zim, old Phineas and Ferb, and old Spongebob.
I am a 'toon addict, as you can see, but I mostly like the older cartoons that you can only watch on Boomerang or YouTube because they're generally cooler and funnier. Today's "LOL pie" jokes and toilet humor kind of repel me.
I spend a lot of time drawing cartoons of my own, as you can see, and my style is basically realistic proportions/anatomy, but the character has a more cartoonish face and hands as well as a slightly enlarged head (by this I mean about as wide as the torso, usually) and I often give my characters pencil necks. I don't really like the geometric style found in so many modern cartoons, and prefer to let the art "breathe" a little.
Many of my OCs have hair or skin colors that are not found in nature. Ever. This is because I think that the characters look cool that way. Drawing awesome technicolor people is the way I roll.
I'm generally kind of silly sometimes, but offline I'm kind of shy. It's not really easy for me to have conversations face-to-face.
I used to be really into anime, but I'm not into it as much as I used to be because of all the yaoi fangirls slashing everybody and screaming "KAWAII!" all the time. That, and live-action shows are hard for me to pay attention to, so cartoons are more of my kind of thing.
Please don't beg me to support your shippings. I hate those things, as you guys know. I also don't like "First Comment!" posts or chain mails. so please keep them away from me.
I also find it rude when you send me your artwork through notes if I already watch you. I'm going to notice it, obviously, so I'd prefer you not do that.
However, feel free to ask me questions. I ain't going to cuss you out or troll you or anything like that.
I may be a little bonkers, but I don't bite.
By the way, I also have a penchant for pink tricycles. And socks with Pikachu on them. And tribal masks. And reptiles. And scented hand sanitizer. And animated movies that nobody watches anymore that are always direct-to-video. And weird trivia that you find in Time magazines.
Quotes of Mine:
"Remember kids, if you want to stay healthy, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, drink plenty of water, and don't listen to Miley Cyrus."
"The universe is constantly expanding. However, my trust of it is going the other way."
"I don't have OCD. I just need everything to be perfect, that's all."
"When I asked for baloney, I didn't mean yaoi!"
"A 'u mad bro?' a day keeps everyone away."
"Don't do drugs. Watch old cartoons instead." (They're addicting.)
Characters I have plushified: Chandelure, Reel-to-Reel, the blue fan from TBLT, Omanyte, and Plugsy.
Cartoons I can never break away from: Classic Disney stuff, Woody Woodpecker/Chilly Willy, Tiny Toon Adventures, Betty Boop, Animaniacs, Invader Zim, SpongeBob
Cartoons to NEVER WATCH AGAIN: Superjail, Happy Tree friends, Dora the Explorer, Bubble Guppies, MLP Gen 3.5, Adventure Time
Favorite color: PURPLE!!!
THE MOD SQUAD AND COFFMAN
Favorite Food: Pizza
Fears: High speeds (why I never go on roller coasters w/ drops), losing my loved ones, intense blood, failure, teenage boys (well, most of 'em), purple table lamps, getting lost
Things I can't do at all: sing, juggle, algebra, watch Nick Jr., make my hair stay in place whenever I try to make it look at least decent, listen to rap, use a curling iron, dance, wear blonde wigs, go a day without talking about cartoons or animals, listen to dubstep music, and understand "shipping".
My Likes: Cartoons (mostly older ones), weird trivia, some Internet memes, creepy-crawlies, Pokemon, old commercials, getting comments on my artwork, dinosaurs, non-princess/CGI Disney movies, Celtic music, purple eyeshadow, disco music, stamps, musical soundtracks, obscure old books, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, bubblegum-flavored toothpaste, birds, sea creatures, dancing around in my room, purple, animated Tim Burton movies (like the Nightmare Before Christmas and Frankenweenie), yogurt, humorous artwork (as long as it's not sexual or racially insensitive), wind-up phonographs, and drawing.
My Dislikes: Internet trolls/other mean people, swearing, violence, Twilight, Justin Bieber, Happy Tree Friends, grody public restrooms, macaroni and cheese, perverted artwork, sleeping, crowds, algebra homework, getting more faves than comments, and immature teen boys.
